Invitation to Lease – Childcare Centre - 30 Gray Street, Narrogin
In accordance with Section 3.58(2)(b), the Shire of Narrogin invites expressions of interest to lease Shire-owned property at 30 Gray Street, Narrogin, comprising approximately 2,317m² and formerly used as a kindergarten. The property has historically supported early childhood services and is ideally suited for use as a childcare facility or similar.
The Shire welcomes proposals from individuals, organisations, or service providers who can demonstrate a viable use for the site that delivers benefit to the community, particularly for childcare or children’s services.
Interested parties are required to provide the following in their submission:
- An overview of the intended use of the property
- A proposed lease term (plus any options) and rental offer per annum
- Relevant experience or organisational background
- Description of community, economic, or service benefit
Submissions close at 4:00pm on Friday, 25 July 2025 and should be addressed to the undersigned.

The property is proposed to be let on an ‘as is’ basis and the Shire makes no warranty that it complies for children’s services without alterations or improvements to comply with any licensing or planning requirements.
Please note, the Shire is not bound to accept any proposal and may negotiate with preferred proponents. The lease will be subject to Council approval under Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995.
