Regulatory Service Officers (Rangers)

The Shire's Regulatory Service Officers (Rangers) are available to assist with regulatory matters both during and outside of business hours. Rangers provide a variety of services aimed at safeguarding our community, including the enforcement of numerous Acts of Parliament, Local Laws and regulations. They also deal with matters such as:

  • Animal Registration
  • Animal Welfare
  • Cat Owner Responsibilities
  • Deceased Animals
  • Dog Exercise Areas
  • Dog Owner Responsibilities
  • Keeping More Than Two Dogs
  • Restricted Dog Breeds
• Firebreaks and fire hazards
• Litter
• Off-Road Vehicles
• Parking control

🕕 Ranger Duty Hours:
A Ranger is on duty between 6:00am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, including during and outside of business hours. Enquiries made outside of these times will be responded to at the earliest opportunity.
