Road resealing works - Clayton Road The Shire of Narrogin will be carrying out essential road reseal works on Clayton Road between Earl Street and Lefroy Street on Monday 23 February 2026 and Tuesday 24 February 2026. Please expect short access restrictions to properties for periods of up to 30 minutes while sealing is underway — our contractors will do their best to keep disruption to a minimum and full traffic management will be in place.

Mr Stewart will conclude his employment with the Shire on Friday, 1 May 2026, providing a three-month transition period to ensure continuity and a comprehensive handover.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 17 December 2025, the Shire of Narrogin Council resolved to transition the delivery of Narrogin Regional Homecare Services to an external provider. It is proposed that the transition to a new provider will be completed by 30 June 2026. This decision follows an Expression of Interest process that commenced in September 2025 and aims to ensure the long-term sustainability and continued high quality delivery of homecare services for the Narrogin community.

The Shire of Narrogin is proud to announce the official reopening of the restored Historic Narrogin Railway Station Goods Shed, to be celebrated with a community Sundowner event on Monday 17 November 2025, from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm at 21 Fairway Street, Narrogin. The restoration project was proudly funded under the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program – Phase 3. Additional contributions from the Shire funded accessibility upgrades such as a fully accessible ramp and toilet block, as well as exterior painting under the broader scope of the upgrade.
