Wonderful people of all ages volunteer with Narrogin Regional Homecare in many different ways and for many different reasons. Volunteers are at the heart of our organisation brightening the lives of those in our care. From young people or parents of school children to those recently retired, our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring with them a variety of skills, interests or just simply their time.

Why volunteer with Narrogin Homecare?

  • It’s flexible - you can volunteer as much or a little as you like!
  • It’s fun – you can choose to do things you enjoy most, while still helping others.
  • It’s rewarding – you really are making a positive difference in the lives of older Shire of Narrogin Residents. Your time is priceless.
  • It’s social – a lovely way to make such a difference to the lives of others, share history and a cup of tea. You can also volunteer with a friend or relative - it’s a great way to spend more time together.

What can I do?

Assisting on a Wednesday or a Friday in the Cottage of Jessie House

Tasks are varied and include assisting serving morning tea and lunch, assisting with cooking, craft, activities and socialising with clients.

All Narrogin Homecare Volunteers must have a current National Police Clearance (we organise this for you and the cost is covered by Narrogin Regional Homecare), are reference checked and attend an interview and then participate in an Occupational Health and Safety Induction.
