ADVERTISMENT OF DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that the Shire of Narrogin has received an application for development approval for the following:
Property Address: Lot 14184 (No. 674) Hyde Road, Highbury
Proposal: Installation of a temporary meteorological mast (120 metres in height)
Duration: Two to five years
The application proposes the installation of a temporary 120-metre-high galvanised steel lattice mast, fitted with sensors and guy wires, for the purpose of collecting meteorological data. The mast is for wind monitoring only and does not form part of a broader development proposal. No vegetation clearing is proposed.
The proposed use is classified as a ‘use not listed’ under the Shire of Narrogin Local Planning Scheme No. 3 and is being advertised in accordance with Clause 64 of Schedule 2 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
Plans and supporting documentation are available below and are also available for public inspection at the Shire of Narrogin Administration Centre, during office hours. Documents may also be requested by email. Submissions on the proposal may be made in writing to the undersigned on or before 30 September 2025.
