The Annual General Meeting of Electors of the Shire of Narrogin will be held on Wednesday, 22 March 2023 in the Shire’s Administration, Centre Council Chambers, 89 Earl Street Narrogin, commencing 6:00pm and the public are welcome to attend.

In accordance with Regulation 12(4) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996, notice is given that a Special Council Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday 8 February 2023 commencing at 5pm in the Shire of Narrogin Council Chambers at 89 Earl Street Narrogin.

Application for planning consent has been received for a proposed renewable Diesel Biorefinery at Lot 31 Great Southern Highway Dumberning

The Shire of Narrogin has recently received a $200 Million Development Application from FutureEnergy Australia (FEA) for the establishment of a Renewable Diesel Biorefinery at Lot 31 Great Southern Highway, a 65ha site, 4km immediately south of the Narrogin Townsite, at the new Narrogin Future Energy Park and serviced by the strategic industrial routes of the Great Southern Highway, and Wanerie Road.

It is hereby notified for public information and comment under the former Shire of Narrogin Local Planning Scheme No.2 and in accordance with the Planning and Development Act 2005, the Shire of Narrogin is in receipt of the above-mentioned application for planning consent.

The Council has resolved to adopt an Amendment Local Law 2022, with its commencement date being 19 November 2022.
