The Shire of Narrogin gives notice, in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, of its intention to lease the property located at 30 Gray Street, Narrogin to Zaydon Group Pty Ltd (Barra Early Learning) for the purpose of operating a childcare centre.
The proposed lease is for a term of five (5) years with a further option of five (5) years.
The key lease terms are as follows:
- Annual rent of $6,500 plus GST, plus all outgoings, for the initial five-year term
- A six (6) month rent-free period at lease commencement
- Market rent review applicable to the option term
The proposed rental reflects an independent market appraisal of $15,800 dated 13 November 2025. However, the Shire is of the view that the discounted rent proposed is fair and reasonable to reflect tenant investment in building upgrades and activation of the facility.
Written submissions regarding the proposed lease are invited and should be addressed to the undersigned by 4.00 pm on 18 March 2026.
