Narrogin Agricultural Show

Each year between 3,000 to 5,000 people pass through the gates to experience this extravaganza with something to interest all members of the family.

The Narrogin Agricultural Show is a traditional agricultural show showcasing the best of the district. With a rich history of Agriculture and Railway the show has been held annually on the third weekend in October since 1901. Although times have changed the old time traditional values of Community Family and Fun are still prevalent today. So book your accommodation early for the Narrogin Agricultural Show third weekend in October. Check the Event Calendar for details on this year's show.

Australia Day

Australia Day Community Breakfast and other Events             

The Shire of Narrogin hosts a free Australia Day celebration commencing with a barbeque breakfast, followed by a program of local entertainment and presentation of the Citizen of the Year Awards. Check the Event Calendar for details on this year's event.

Citizen of the Year Awards

The Australia Day Council WA, Community Citizen of the Year Awards are presented by Local Government within local communities across Western Australia on Australia Day.

Citizenship Ceremony

Citizenship ceremonies are special events where applicants for citizenship are required to make the Australian Citizenship Pledge. This is the final step in the journey to become an Australian citizen.

The citizenship ceremony is also an important opportunity to officially welcome new citizens as full members of the Australian community. These ceremonies are sometimes performed at community events held on Australia Day. 

Revheads & Last Blast of Summer

Held on the third weekend in November - the event includes three big days of burnouts and a full weekend of non-stop action. The Last Blast of summer takes place on the 2nd weekend of March.

Revheads was founded on 14 November 1992 and has become regional Western Australia’s largest burnout competition showcasing other events such as Show 'N' Shine & Miss Revheads bikini comp.

It is the goal of the Revheads organisation to raise much needed funds for medical equipment for the Narrogin Regional Hospital and surrounding districts, and give support to community groups and sporting clubs.

Narrogin Speedway

Just out of town you will find the Narrogin Speedway with events starting in September.

Narrogin Racing & Pacing

A new era in WA Racing began when Narrogin Racing held its official Launch Meeting on September 28th 2008. Narrogin Racing is the first club in WA to incorporate both Thoroughbred and Harness Racing. A big crowd, comprising of visitors from Perth and the surrounding area, gathered at Narrogin Racing to be a part of WA racing history.

Racing has stayed close to the hub of Narrogin, only minutes’ walk to the pubs, hotel/motels and the centre of town.
