The Shire continues to monitor developments with COVID-19 and follow the advice of government and health authorities whilst maintaining services to the community.
The Shire Administration Centre remains open to the public (from the Church Square Carpark side), with the foyer area, chambers being used as a waiting area for social distancing in inclement weather.
Customers are encouraged to conduct transactions such as Transport Licensing, payment of rates and Shire accounts by credit card, online, over the phone or by direct debit arrangements where possible.
Department of Transport enquiries can be made by calling 13 11 56, accounts can be paid online at www.transport.wa.gov.au
We are however EXCITED to advise that the following facilities will re-open on Monday 18 May:
- RW (Bob) Farr Memorial Library (9am); and
- Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre (6am) (Nb – the Aquatic Facility is subject to receiving Health Department approval for test results) (but the water is at **28 degrees**).
The following facilities remain closed to the public due to WA Govt Directives:
- Narrogin Town Hall;
- Narrogin Reception Centre;
- Courthouse Museum; and
- All Playgrounds and the Skate Park.
All public conveniences, Shire’s RV Sites, the Narrogin Caravan Park and White Road Refuse Site & Transfer Station remains open for normal operating hours.
We continue to strongly recommend to the community to practice safe hygiene and avoid unnecessary public gatherings.
