PROPOSED RELOCATION OF THE ADMINISTRATION AND ASSOCIATED SERVICES OF NARROGIN REGIONAL HOMECARE

The Shire invites submissions on the proposed relocation of the administration and associated
services of Narrogin Regional Homecare from its current location on Clayton Road, to Lot
1721 (Reserve 49048) Hale Street, Narrogin, adjoining Gnarojin Community Gardens, with a
new shared car park between.
The operations of Narrogin Regional Homecare have outgrown its current building and
location.
The preferred new home of ‘Jessie House’ would see a new purpose built facility providing for
expanded Community Care Services, Social Support Groups, Respite Care and Offices and
proposes relocating the existing outdoor gym to another area, such as along the Gnarojin Park
Creek, or to the south of the site.
The existing site, and or building indeed, at the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre, could then
be either repurposed for recreational activities, or redevelopment in time for expansion of other
recreational needs, more in keeping with the recreation precinct.
A copy of the minutes where the matter was discussed and a map showing the proposed
location, can be found here.
Submissions can be made in writing on or before Friday 16 April 2021, addressed to the
undersigned.
