New Shire Customer Service Arrangements

At the Shire, we continue to adhere to Government agency advice to keep our customers, employees and community as safe as possible.

Regrettably, we have altered our Administration Centre opening hours and procedures and have decided to minimise public access to our building.

We ask that our customers utilise the Shire’s comprehensive website to do their traditional over the counter transactions and payments. Here are the links that will assist you with the transactions that you may normally do with us face-to-face, that can be done with ease on the Shire’s website.

Vehicles and Licencing

Most vehicle and licencing activities can be processed online utilising the BPay details contained on the Department Transport form, Website www.transport.wa.gov.au/dvs or by telephone 1300 655 322. We encourage the use of these facilities. For those activities that cannot be undertaken online, such as Concessions, Learners Permits or medical endorsements, we ask that you contact the office on Tel: 9890 0900 to make an appointment between the hours of 9:00am and 11:00am (Mon-Fri) so these transactions can be processed.

For motor vehicle dealerships, transactions will be processed between 11:00am and 12:00 noon each day. Please email paperwork through so we can process it and we will let you know when it has been processed. Alternately you contact the office on 9890 0900 to make an appointment

Dog and Cat registrations

New Dog and Cat registrations can be made in person, by appointment, between the hours of 9-12 am Monday to Friday.

Rest assured, if you need assistance with any of the above websites or transactions, we are still here to answer your questions, and can assist if you phone us on 9890 0900 or email us on enquiries@narrogin.wa.gov.au.

Whilst our Regional Recreation Centre and Halls and conducting of events have had to cease, our our Library has closed its doors to the public, we are still looking at ways to continue, albeit with some changed operational procedures.

Homecare in-home services, Refuse and Recycling services, access to the Refuse Site, road and parks maintenance operations continue with appropriate safe hygiene and social distancing being practiced at all times. Whilst many Shire employees are now working safely in their homes, our ability to pay suppliers, our employees and contractors continue.
