The Shire of Narrogin is pleased to announce the biannual Landcare Project Fund which provides funding assistance to rural property owners to purchase native plants for land rehabilitation on their property. The fund will run concurrently with the Shire’s Community Chest Fund.

Eligible applicants whose properties are situated outside the Narrogin and Highbury townsites, and within the Shire of Narrogin, are invited to apply for up to $5,000 funding support to address salt affected, eroded and other land rehabilitation issues on their property. Projects are required to be completed and acquitted by 30 June 2021.

Shire of Narrogin Chief Executive Officer Dale Stewart said ‘’We are excited to make this funding opportunity available to Shire of Narrogin rural property owners. Land rehabilitation can be a necessary and costly exercise and we look forward to helping in a small way with financial assistance’’.
