Christmas Lights Competition Winners 2021

Narrogin and Highbury residents have decorated their homes for Christmas again – and what a display. Numerous households are displaying bright and colourful installations of Christmas lights and decorations, and the judges have visited every street in search of the best residential Christmas Lights displays.

This year, the Narrogin Chamber of Commerce extended their popular Best Business Window in the Narrogin CBD to include two prizes, which encouraged local businesses in the CBD to help make Narrogin sparkle.

The judges cruised around over the last week, and at the end of the period, deliberated on who they thought the best displays were for this year.

At the last Council meeting for the year, the judges announced the winners of the Shire of Narrogin Christmas Lights Competition – Residential.  The winners will receive Narrogin Chamber of Commerce vouchers that are redeemable for any goods or services at Chamber Member businesses.

The winners for this year are:

1st Prize – (Value $250):  60 Forrest Street, Narrogin

2nd Prize – (Value $200):  27 Furnival Street, Narrogin

3rd Prize – (Value $150): 10 Daglish Street, Narrogin

The Best CBD Business Window was judged by Narrogin Chamber of Commerce and the winners are:

1st Prize – (Value $150): Knightline

2nd Prize – (Value $50): Wild & Waste Free

The judges commended Cr Broad on his display, and congratulated previous winners for their displays this year.  The best decorated street was Furnival Street, and the judges say it is worth a drive to view it.

It was obvious that the CBD businesses put in an extraordinary effort and the CBD is looking very festive indeed.

“Thank you to everyone who has gone to so much effort to help celebrate the festive season in Narrogin it was a pleasure to judge this year’s Christmas lights on behalf of the Shire of Narrogin” said the judges, Councillors Jacqui Early and Roxanne McNab.
