The Shire of Narrogin will be conducting necessary kerbing works during the month of September as part of the 2018/19 Capital Works Program. These works, combined with road resurfacing scheduled for January 2019, will dramatically improve the appearance of Herald Street.

Monday 17 to Friday 21 September:

Removal of the existing kerbing, and renewal of the existing private property storm-water.

Monday 21 to Friday 28 September:

New kerbing will be installed.

Monday 1 October:

Backfilling of the new kerbing will commence.  These works are likely to be completed within two weeks.

During all stages of construction, public and staff safety will be held in the highest regard, with temporary signage to be installed for traffic and pedestrian management, advising both road users and pedestrians that road works are in progress.

The Shire will endeavour to meet the schedule of works, however outside influences such as weather, or an emergency may cause this schedule to be changed. If this is to occur, residents and businesses on Herald Street will be notified.

Crossovers with mountable kerbing will be removed and replaced with new.  Residents and businesses will not be able to drive over the new concrete kerbing until it has cured or a minimum of 12 hours.

If you have any questions regarding this project, please don’t hesitate to contact Manager Operations John Warburton on 9881 5443, or via email enquiries@narrogin.wa.gov.au .
