Community Chest Fund applications up to a maximum $5,000 cash or in-kind support.
The Shire wishes to support the recovery of eligible community groups with the delivery of activities and programs that demonstrate benefit to the Narrogin community. To further support the social and economic recovery of the Narrogin community, successful applicants from 19/20 and 18/19 will also be eligible to apply for funding in this current round.
Shire President Leigh Ballard said ‘’We really want to see the community revitalised following the economic and social devastation experienced by so many due to the restrictions imposed during the COVID crisis. So, for the financial year 2020/2021 Council has agreed to increase the limit of each application to a maximum of $5,000 cash or in-kind, and to allow successful applicants from the previous two financial years to apply. With some restrictions still remaining, we look forward to seeing some truly innovative proposals that will help restore community wellbeing’’.
