In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, the Shire of Narrogin increased the limits on individual Community Chest Grant Fund applications up to a maximum $5,000 cash or in-kind support.
The Shire wishes to support the recovery of eligible community groups with the delivery of activities and programs that demonstrate benefit to the Narrogin community. To further support the social and economic recovery of the Narrogin community, successful applicants from Round 1 2020/2021, 2019/2020 and 2018/2019 will also be eligible to apply for funding in this current round.
The Council approved more than $38,000 in grants from Round 1, which included funding for the community event Narrogin Voice. Shire President Leigh Ballard said ‘’We saw some fantastic community events and projects in Round 1. The limit of each application is up to a maximum of $5,000 cash or in-kind, and successful applicants from the previous two financial years are eligible to apply’’.
