Many of Narrogin’s early buildings provide an attractive heritage feel to the town’s centre and they stand as a monument to the times and the people who produced them, prompting our inquiry into the spirit of other times. So wrote the town’s former honorary historian, Maurine White, in his 1988 booklet Timescape.

The Narrogin Heritage Walk Trail will deliver 25 interpretive panels in anodised sketched aluminium on pedestal posts installed in Narrogin’s CBD.

The first stage of   the project was completed in June 2019. This stage saw ten interpretive signs installed in the CBD. Work on the remaining fifteen panels was also undertaken in this stage of the project.

The second stage will see the full heritage trail completed, with the installation of the final fifteen panels, trail directional markers and a trail head panel as well as the writing, design and printing of 5,000 promotional brochures.
