Dryandra Country Art Food & Wine Trail

Mother's Day weekend

The Dryandra Country Art Food & Wine Trail is held annually at various locations and venues on Mother's Day weekend.

The Dryandra Country Art, Food and Wine self-drive trail provides families and individuals with a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day.

The self-drive trail encompasses venues in Narrogin and other towns within a 40 km radius – Williams, Cuballing, Popanyinning and Wickepin – making it possible to comfortably visit all attractions over the weekend.

Venues are open from 10am til 4pm on Mother's Day weekend throughout the Dryandra Country region and are located in the towns of Cuballing, Narrogin, Pingelly, Popanyinning, Wickepin and Williams.

Visitors will enjoy art, craft, music, food and wine produced within this area of the wheatbelt. Over 100 artists and craft workers have items on display and for sale. Special Mother's Day lunches and other events, such as gallery openings, add to the enjoyment.

Cafes will offer coffee, cakes, special Mother’s Day menus and lots of great country fare. Wine tasting and cellar door sales are available at the wineries on the tour.

A wide variety of work is featured from paintings to mosaics; textiles to woodwork; photography to sculpture; china painting to glasswork; metalwork to cake decorating.

A trail map and guide is available from ARtS Narrogin and the Dryandra Country Visitor Centre in Narrogin and other visitor centres and selected outlets. Visitors can then select their destinations from the participating cafes, wineries, shops, galleries and artists’ studios.

And, if you can spare just one day, then you’ll be pleased to know there are several venues where multiple exhibitors have been brought together for your enjoyment.

Families are encouraged to “come, stay and play” for the weekend with several accommodation options available including motels, pubs, B&Bs, farmstays, caravan parks and bush camping.

The Dryandra Country Art, Food and Wine Trail has been accepted as a major annual event for the region and has the support of many generous sponsors including Australia's Golden Outback.
