Upgrade to Weary Fleet

A second new fire truck for Narrogin's Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade and volunteers has been delivered.

Local supplier, WA Fire Appliances, fitted the Isuzu 4x4, 4,000 litre vehicle with the latest safety equipment and has tested it in readiness for the fire season.
Shire President and Fire and Rescue Services volunteer, Leigh Ballard explained "The Narrogin firefighting unit was getting past its use-by date. These new vehicles will assist Narrogin Fire & Rescue and the Central Bush Fire Brigade tackle future incidents with confidence. With the ability to keep these machines maintained locally, they should last for a good 10 years before they need replacing again".
