2017 Children's Environment & Health Local Government Policy Awards

The Children’s Environment & Health Local Government Policy awards held last Friday, 8 December, at the Bendat Centre in Wembley.

These awards are a Public Health Advocacy Institute of WA (PHAIWA) initiative supported by Healthway, WALGA, The Commissioner for Young People and The Cancer Council WA. The awards recognise the achievements of Local Governments in prioritising the environment we live in to improve the health and wellbeing of our children.

The Shire is pleased and very proud to announce the Library, again in 2017, was presented an Award for Early Literacy to Kay Weaver and Aaron Cook.
