If you have a pension card these fees are reduced by 50%. You will need to present this card at the Council office upon registration of your dog.

In the unfortunate case that a dog is seized and impounded the owner has 72 hours to collect the dog before it is re-homed or destroyed. If the dog is impounded the following fees will need to be paid before the dog is released:

Registered Dogs:    $30

Unregistered Dogs:    $50

plus an additional $5.00 - $10.00 per extra day the dog is kept in the pound.

If your dog does go missing please contact the Town of Narrogin on 9881 1944 or the Regulatory Service Officer on 0448 873 207, as soon as possible to check if it has been impounded.

The Dog Act 1976 requires registration tags to be worn at all times.
