Payment by Instalments
If you want to pay your rates by instalments, select the preferred option by clearly marking your rate notice as provided. Payment for all arrears and the first instalment option must be received by 5 November 2009.
The two instalment option has a fee of $6.00 and attracts 5.5% interest on the balance after the first payment on 5 November 2009 until the final payment on 9 March 2010.
The four instalment option has a fee of $15.00 and attracts interest of 5.5% on the balances remaining after the instalment dates of 5 November 2009, 5 January 2010, 9 March 2010 and 4 May 2010.
On the day any rate payment becomes overdue, an 11% per annum penalty is applied on a daily basis and will continue to accrue until arrears are paid.
